Leonard M. Golub, CFA

Leonard was born in 1965 and raised in Houston, Texas. He attended St. John’s School, received a B.A. degree from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts in 1989, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Texas McCombs School in 1999. His early career was spent in computer network design and engineering. In the 1990’s he helped found and finance several startup companies, one of which was acquired and another which went public, both at significantly appreciated values.

While working on multi-generational estate issues for his family, he became very interested in investments, and made a career change.  He earned his CFA charter in 2003 and started New Capital Management in 2004.

 


Catherine Bahr, Director of Client Services & Communications 

Catherine started with New Capital in August of 2012. As Director of Client Services & Communications, Catherine develops and promotes the services of New Capital Management. 

Catherine is a native Houstonian who grew up in West University and attended Lamar High School. She graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree in Mass Communication from Texas State University in 2004. After college, Catherine worked in graphic design and marketing positions before starting with New Capital. She is currently a CFP candidate.

Catherine loves spending free time with family & friends, working out at Crossfit, and traveling the world.

 

 

 Jaycee Smalley, Adminstrative Advisor

Jaycee started with New Capital in March 2015 as an intern, and following her December 2016 graduation from University of Houston's accounting program, Jaycee was promoted to a full-time position in adminstration and client services. Jaycee's work-ethic and organization are an enormous value to New Capital and our clients. 

In Jaycee’s spare time she enjoys traveling with her family and friends, reading, and exploring the different tastes and attractions of Houston.
