NCM360 Enhancements: Stronger Security and Smarter Communications

We’re pleased to announce two important updates to NCM360: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and SMS text messaging.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

To strengthen the security of your financial information, NCM360 now supports Multi-Factor Authentication. MFA adds a second layer of protection by requiring a time-based verification code from an authenticator app on your mobile device, in addition to your password.

When you log in to NCM360 on or after Monday, August 4th, you will be prompted to complete a one-time MFA setup. Here’s what to expect:

  1. Install an authenticator app on your mobile device. (We recommend Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Twilio Authy.)

  2. Open the app and scan the QR code presented on your NCM360 login screen.

  3. Enter the 6-digit code from the app to verify and complete setup.

After setup, you’ll use your authenticator app to enter a new verification code when logging in. This change will be required for all users and is an important step in protecting your financial data.

SMS/Text Messaging

New Capital now offers SMS messaging as a clear, convenient way to receive important updates related to your financial information. Messages may include:

  • Reminders based on your personal data (e.g., upcoming IRA deadlines, insurance policy expirations, social security enrollment windows, etc.)

  • Notifications when a new performance report, planning recommendation, or data analysis report is available.

  • Important updates from New Capital and/or NCM360

  • Invitations to webinars, events, or our annual conference

The goal is to create a centralized communication channel that works for you. We recommend that you save the sender number in your contacts so you have a running feed of everything New Capital. SMS messaging will be automatically enabled for all clients who have a mobile number on file. You can update your communication preferences at any time from your account settings.

These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to security, service, and innovation. If you have any questions about these features or would like assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you do not yet have access to NCM360, we invite you to get started by scheduling a quick setup and introduction call below.
